I love summer. The parks fill up with families, people look for excuses to spend lunchbreaks outside, brave kids swim at the beaches, and we all get enough vitamin D for once. It’s been a good season for real estate for me, too, and already, I’ve had a blast with my clients this summer.
Another part of Seattle summers I love are the local outdoor movies. In my neck of the woods, the West Seattle Outdoor Movies has a great lineup starting this Saturday (July 16). The community over here has loved these movies in the past, and it looks like this year is going to draw even more new fans. It’s community-building, and it’s fun!
These movies are free, but you can bring money for concessions and raffles (proceeds support local nonprofits). The movies start at dusk. The first five will be shown in the Hotwire Online Coffeehouse (California/Geneseer) courtyard, and the sixth in the new Triangle Festival Street by the West Seattle YMCA. Here’s the lineup:
July 16th
“Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens”
(featuring pre-show Star Wars trivia)
Hotwire Online Coffeehouse
July 23rd
“Monty Python and The Holy Grail”
Hotwire Online Coffeehouse
July 30th
“School of Rock”
Hotwire Online Coffeehouse
August 6th
“Skyfall” (featuring pre-show James Bond trivia)
Hotwire Online Coffeehouse
August 13th
“The Lego Movie”

August 20th

If you aren’t a West Seattle local, you don’t have to feel left out. There are outdoor movies playing throughout Seattle this summer!
