What a year! Seattle’s real estate market has made life crazy this year, with bidding wars and low inventory and an influx of newcomers. But it’s been a good year. The craziness keeps things interesting. And we’re thankful for a whole host of other reasons.
We’re thankful, first off, for our unbelievable clients. I don’t know how it happens, but we somehow manage to consistently work with the best people in Seattle. From John and Kelly to Bettykay and Robb to Kate and Jeremy to everyone else—it’s been a blast. You all make this work genuinely fun. I couldn’t think of anyone else I’d rather help buy and sell houses.
And we’re thankful for Agents of Change, too. A group of amazing real estate people came together this year to give back to Mary’s Place, and we’re making a real impact. We’re hosting a Holiday clothing drive right now, and besides helping the kids at Mary’s Place… this is fun. Agents of Change is a wholesome, supportive community, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.
We’re also thankful for Mallory! Mallory Victor joined our team this year, and we couldn’t be happier. She cares about people and community, and she takes to real estate like no one else. Mallory fits into the Real Estate Gals perfectly.
And of course, we’re thankful for family and friends, and we’re thankful for our pets, and we’re thankful for vacations like Johnine’s Europe trip this summer. And last—but not least!—we’re thankful for Seattle. We love this city. We’re excited to see how it changes in these coming years, and we’re even more excited that we get to be a part of it.
Thank you, everyone. It’s a good life we have, and we get to share it with people we love. And with that, I’m off to make the most of this Thanksgiving weekend!
