Mary’s Place Luncheon
I’m gearing up for Mary’s Place’s annual Spring Luncheon… with an air guitar. I met up with a few other Agents of Change today, and we whipped up some a sign and took a few photos. I always love connecting with these women–they’re incredible people doing real good for those less fortunate–and they’re pretty fun to spend time with, too. Take a look at our handiwork!

Thanks to Amazon, Mary’s Place has a temporary new home. This new venue, 2213 Eighth Ave., will house up to 200 homeless women, children, and families for a full year–and Amazon will let Mary’s Place use the building rent-free. Mary’s Place will still have to cover utilities, but that’s it. As real estate prices continue to soar…
