Lincoln Park
West Seattle is notorious for its miles of gorgeous beachfront. Alki Beach is a popular scenic beach with two and a half miles of sandy beachfront to explore. Many people from joggers, to sunbathers, cyclists, and rollerbladers frequent this beach to soak up the Sun. Other nearby hotspots like Alki Point Lighthouse and Alki Beach Park offer more adventures. The lighthouse, located on Puget Sound’s Alki Point, stands nearly 37 feet tall.

Parks
West Seattle has countless trails great for exploring. Schmitz Preserve Park is a 53-acre park just east of Alki Point. The Seattle Chinese Garden sits on 4.6 acres among the South Seattle Community College campus and provides stunning panoramic views of downtown, Washington, Elliot Bay, and the Cascade mountains. Plus, you can take in the beautiful Chinese landscape and architecture that make up this beautiful spot.
The Log House Museum is another West Seattle attraction to visit. Built in the early 1900s, this historical log museum houses plenty of local artifacts to learn more about the rich history of West Seattle.
West Seattle Junction is the neighborhood’s focal point and is in the heart of downtown West Seattle. Here, you can choose to explore various trendy shops, coffee spots, and yummy food places to fully appreciate the magic of this neighborhood.
