We hosted a Spring Fling client appreciation event last Sunday, and it reminded us yet again: we have the best clients in the world! For those who couldn’t make it, or for those (like us) who just want to relive it all over again, here’s a recap of the afternoon:
Delicious Food
I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t stop going back for more salmon spread. Barn and Field provided some terrific locally sourced lasagna and salad, too, and we brought beer, wine, and sodas. I don’t think anyone left hungry!
Juggling
What a juggling demonstration! Jory Northup, everyone!
I spoke with Jory after the performance, and I learned that he has been juggling seriously for more than six years. It started as a way to kill time during lunch breaks, but as he improved, it turned into something bigger.
Fun fact: Did you know that it’s harder to juggle four objects than five objects? A four-object juggle demands trickier patterns.
Live Bluegrass
Many thanks to 3 Play Ricochet! They provided a toe-tapping, head-nodding soundtrack for the afternoon that made me excited about spring.
Pipe Cleaner Contest
Who knew it would be so hard to judge? Or to find the best way to judge?
The kids (and parents) crafted some pretty spectacular pipe cleaner creations. Here’s a few of them:
Our Favorite Part
The best part of this afternoon wasn’t any activity. It was our clients.
It had been far too long since we had seen most of them, and this event was the perfect way to see some familiar faces we love. I don’t think we stopped smiling for the entire two and half hours!
Thank you, everyone who made it out! And for those of you who couldn’t make this one, we’re already planning the next client appreciation event. This was too much fun to not do again!
