Part 2: No-cost kitchen updates
Part 3: Ready, set, sell (this post)
After a productive two months of cost-benefits analysis, interior designing, and coordinating all sorts of contractors—15512 Stone Ave N is a house transformed.
We re-did the kitchen and bathroom, refinished the fir floors, tore out the old carpet and installed new carpet, applied fresh paint, spruced up the basement, and even did some landscaping. We’re pretty proud of these renovations, so we’d like to share!
Bathroom
Refinished fir floors
New paint
Basement
We also replaced the water heater down here. Now the basement looks more cozy and less dungeon-y. Way less dungeon-y.
Landscaping
We filled in the shoulder with new gravel to level it out, prevent puddles, and create more guest parking that didn’t require 4-wheel-drive. It made the mailman happy, too!
Kitchen
Check out the listing page for more photos of the pristine, finished kitchen!
When the sellers approached us, they knew they wanted to perform some updates to score a higher list price, but they didn’t know how much we’d be willing to do. It’s not in a typical realtor’s job description (or skillset) to play the role of consultant, designer, and contractor.
But “we do more.” We want to help every client sell their home for the highest price possible—and our team-based model and three decades of experience lets us do it. We know what will bring a worthwhile return on investment, and we always have someone available to coordinate major updates like this.
