Good News! As we know some events are making a comeback in 2022, and Easter egg hunts are included. We are so happy to be able to get out there and enjoy the lovely Seattle Spring weather. All of the events listed here are free and open to the public.
Easter Activities at Magnuson Park
Where: 6344 NE 74th Street Seattle 98115
When: Friday April 15 – Event begins at 4:30 PM
Crafts: 4:30 p.m.
Egg hunt: 5:30 p.m.
Flashlight Teen hunt: 7:30 p.m.
Cost: Free
This event is a bit different than the rest offered here. There will be crafts, egg hunts for the younger kids, and then a flashlight egg hunt for older kids and teens. Make sure to get there early to get parking, and following signs for the amphitheater, that is where the egg hunt will be held.
Greenlake Community Center
Where: 7201 E Green Lake Dr N, Seattle, WA 98115
When/Who: Ages 1-3: 10am
Ages 4-6: 10:30am
Ages 7-10: 11am
Cost: Free
A historic tourist destination, and well loved community spot. Greenlake is known for its 2.8 mile walking/biking trail around the edge of the lake. While you’re here for the easter activities don’t forget to stop by the delicious restaurants right off the north side of the trail.
Delridge Community Center
Where: 4501 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106
When: 10am sharp
Who: Ages 3-11
Cost: Free
The Delridge community center offers a large lush green playfield, as well as a skatepark and an outdoor fitness area. There are also BBQ pits located around the park which will lend themselves to a whole new level of entertainment for Easter Weekend.
Loyal Heights Community Center
Where: 2101 NW 77th St, Seattle, WA 98117
When: 10am sharp
Who: Ages 3-11
Cost: Free
The Loyal Height Community Center is home to a large soccer play field, a trail for little bikes and scooters, and a modest playground. A large hill, perfect for picnics, l overlooks the soccer field so you can watch your little ones in action while you relax.
Van Asselt Community Center
Where: 2802 S Myrtle St, Seattle WA 98108
When: 10am sharp
Who: Ages 3-11
Cost: Free
The Community Center is surrounded by a large lawn, sports courts, a play area, and BBQ pits. The two basketball courts on this property were sponsored by the Seattle Storm Basketball Team.
Yesler Community Center
Where: 917 E Yesler Way, Seattle, WA 98122
When: 10am sharp
Who: Ages 3-11
Cost: Free
Built in 2004, this community center is the first of its kind in our area. It is certified to be environmentally sustainable. This center features a basketball court, a playground, and a 1.7 acre park as an extension of the community center.
